forms and welds custom rings, cylinders, cones and structural shapes from
steel and other alloys. Special sections of curved shapes are formed, using
a series of benders from the 750-ton "Bulldozer" to the giant Harvic T-1200
Beam Bender. These RECONelson
has either designed, built, or purchased to execute processes such as plate
rolling, angle rolling, and specialized bending. They also designed and
built an Automatic Submerged-Arc Welding Machine for cylinders that has
the capability of producing X-ray quality welds. RECONelson
can weld, blast, paint, drill, punch and X-ray, magna-flux and ultrasonic
test.
They can also heat-treat in their 10-ton capacity furnace.
